What type of massages do you offer?

We provide a diverse range of techniques based on the training of our massage therapists.

We have some massage therapists skilled at delivering relaxing massages, some qualified to provide therapeutic massages, and some trained to offer prenatal massages. We tailor massages to your needs, adjusting pressure and rhythm accordingly. We

At L’Absolu Spa, we believe a massage should integrate the whole body rather than just targeting individual areas. We offer enveloping, warm massages, generally emphasizing a slow pace.

All our massage therapists are accredited and can issue receipts for insurance purposes. Please call our receptionist if your insurance company requests a massage therapist certified with one thousand hours.

In good standing with the codes of ethics, the receipt can only be issued in the name of the person receiving the massage experience.

However, if you purchase it for a company, we can provide you with a receipt for tax purposes.

We provide massages to pregnant women over twelve (12) weeks along their pregnancy. However, it is very important to mention this when making an appointment, as only massage therapists who have received specific training are allowed to massage pregnant women.

Since everyone’s health differs, it is always best to seek your doctor’s advice before receiving a prenatal massage to ensure that it does not pose a risk to you or your baby.

We do offer massages to minors as well. However, an authorization must be signed by a parent or legal guardian, and the child must be mature enough to receive a massage.

Each of our massage rooms has a shower. We also provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, bath towels, and bathrobes.

Yes, it is possible to receive a massage for two (2) in the same massage room. Make sure to specify this when booking your appointments.

What should I expect for my floatation bath session?

To ensure a better experience, avoid shaving on the day of your appointment. While not unsafe, the amount of Epsom salt in the water could irritate sensitive skin. A protective jelly will be provided should you wish to add an extra barrier to a wound on your skin.

We provide bath towels, bathrobes, and all necessary shower items.

Shoes are prohibited inside the spa at all times, so if you are not comfortable walking barefoot, you should wear sandals or slippers.

Since Epsom salt acts as a natural antiseptic, changing the water between sessions is unnecessary. However, we perform rigorous maintenance between sessions.

Additionally, the water is consistently filtered and treated with high-quality products that are gentle and healthy for the skin.

We regularly check the water’s pH, alkalinity, and temperature levels to ensure optimal hygiene and comfort.

The order of your care will be determined based on availability. If you require a specific order, please inform the receptionist by telephone.

Our staff will be present to provide all the information you need before the session. After taking a shower (available in each flotation room), you can enter the bath and lie on your back. To enhance your experience, you can control the light’s intensity and the music’s volume.

The water temperature is maintained at body temperature to avoid any contrast with your skin and the surrounding air. We recommend enjoying the session without a swimsuit. Floating when your skin only touches the water is much more comfortable.

Yes absolutely! The floating bath is fully recommended for pregnant women and is even greatly beneficial. The feeling of weightlessness that the floating bath provides will give a feeling of lightness to the mother-to-be and will relieve her of tension and heaviness.

Water that is maintained at body temperature, to avoid any contrast between the skin and the ambient air, is safe for pregnant women.

No, all of our massages take place at L’Absolu Spa.

How does a session in the Finnish sauna take place?

To fully enjoy its benefits, we suggest everyone complete at least two (2) cycles.

A ten (10) to fifteen (15) minute session inside the sauna, followed by a cold shower and a rest period of at least ten (10) minutes.

Pregnant women should avoid using saunas. Even if the heat does not bother you, a significant rise in body temperature can harm fetal development.
